Maintenance Assistant - Maintenance
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. Performing daily log on central plant and periodic boiler water testing.
2. Checking and maintaining equipment for on-going maintenance program.
3. Repairing or replacing electrical equipment or service.
4. Repairing or replacing plumbing fixtures or service.
5. Performing daily scheduled maintenance repairs and recording.
6. Repairing or renovating building space using handyman-type skills.
7. Keeping grounds; including trash removal, and dealing with snow and ice.
8. Moving heavy equipment and furniture as needed.
9. Be available for emergency callback in the absence of the department manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Mechanically inclined with knowledge of building equipment. Preferable to be proficient in one skilled trade, i.e., electric, plumbing, carpentry, or refrigeration. Additional experience and/or proficiencies preferred. Computer literate; comfortable with basic math; good reading comprehension. Capable of lifting 50 lbs. over the head repeatedly and 100 lbs. occasionally. Additional Information Position Type : Part Time Shift : Day Hourly Wage: $18.00 - $20.00 per/hour
