Physical Therapist Asst. - Physical Therapy

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing environments.
Duties
Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide direct patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities.
Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately.
Educate patients and their families on care plans and home exercise programs.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in discharge planning and assist with transitions between different levels of care.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in physiotherapy.
Requirements
Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy.
Experience in various settings such as acute care, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, geriatrics, orthopedics, and pediatrics is preferred.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to develop care plans that meet individual patient needs.
Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care.
